The following is not 100% canon and takes place between posts “Today on Mister Lister the Fister Sister” (circa May 16, 2013) and “Today on Game Grumps Rebuild 1.11: You are (Not) So Grump” (circa May 17, 2013). Furious and bald for some reason, Arin stared in fury as he witnessed his empire laid to waste twice.

“I don’t know what kind of game you’re playing,” Arin growled in a very deep voice that wasn’t very Arin-like, “But even though you both have distinct differences in your approach to your craftsmanship, you’ve committed one grave error. You’ve screwed with us both. Twice.”

Jon rubbed his eyes blearily. The exhaustion he felt was unending and incurable by sleep- it was a blot of weariness etched into his brain. The events of the past two Grumps, losing his mental faculties [Today on Gut Grew (circa April 21, 2013)], coupled with the fact he had not fed Jacques in a fortnight, had weighed on his heart heavily. He knew his partner had reached his limit, but realized Arin was a machine- a machine that converted sleepless nights into rage. It was something that bothered him immensely. Jon knew he himself was a weak man. The mere sight of blood terrified him since the DeBevois incident [[Ga]me G[Ru]mps” (circa April 16, 2013)]. A goddamn casserole exploding in a microwave freaked him out once, for God’s sake. It took days to get out of a post-foetal position. [Today on Guy Gabooboo (circa February 26, 2013)]. Yet he could tell amidst his fears that Arin was playing his final cards. Arin Hanson was nothing if not a thorough man- Only one side would walk out of here alive, and the other would die. He sniffed, adjusted his Punisher hat [TODAY ON GLITTERWHISKEY (circa March 17, 2013)] and toyed uneasily with his Ecco and American Eagle getup- it was going to be a long day.

“We are willing to raise the stakes in your favor, to gain your interest.” Arin raised a disc case [TODAY ON FUNNEY JOEKS (circa April 19, 2013)] in the air and let their eyes fix on it. “This is a very rare item. It is unavailable to everyone but us, as it would appear. We thought it was a joke. But it is not. Obviously it serves no purpose to either of your professions. However, you have the resources to find the proper collectors of such a commodity, and you will benefit financially from this.”

“I’m not here for you, I’m here for her.” Ramsay snapped in a non-rhotic way.

“And yet the competition stands. We all have desires that we need fulfilled, and we need to accomplish them in the only way we know how.” Arin pulled out several books from D20 Modern.

“We challenge you to…”

Jon looked at Arin as though he were mad. He mouthed the words in disbelief as Arin said them aloud.
